Priority and Severity

What is Priority and Severity in Testing?

3 comments:

  1. Priority is the importance of the bug.
Severity is the impact of the bug.

Priority of a bug is given by a developer as per customer requriments whereas severity is given by the tester since he knows how much impact it shows on the application.
